had an enjoyable weekend, mine was hot, at round 2 of the ADAC
German Champs. I had just about written one of my best ever emails
when i hit something and it disappeared i went back, forward, back
and it was gone. Not happy. The race in France on Thursday was
cancelled as the course was really wet. Insteadi cycled 2 and a half
hours in Schelmz burning 1380 calories. I've got a new heart rate
monitor, its tha shit... So Friday i jump in the truck with the boys,
arrive in Reutlingen set up the tent and checked out the track,
narrow and hard pack. Qualification, i was in group 2: M.Schiffer was
blazing with a time of 1.56.12, Maximus Nagl 1.57. 12 and myself
1.58.64. Race 1, drop it like its hot, the gate dropped and i had a
top ten start. With in a few laps i was in fourth, but at the half way
stage i was passed. I tried to re pass this rider but went off the
course losing 2 more positions. With 2 laps to go of the 40 min moto
i was in 6th just behind the 4th and 5th but on the last lap i lost
the front wheel going down and finishing 6th. Pissed off with my silly
little crashes. Race 2, Shit start, on lap one i was in 20th position,
passing a few riders and riding well in my yellow Shoei helmet, race 1
i was wearing my blue helmet, i no longer where that while racing,
i always seem to fall over in it... click on oy go to tje full story
