Q: How did you place in the Nokia MX Nationals last year?A: I finished in 5th place last year
Q: You seem to be improving over the last couple of rounds. Do you feel you can
maintain this pace for the remainder of the championship?
A: Definitely. I'm starting to find my form as I have been struggling with injury.
Q: Are you carrying any injuries or do you feel fit going into the rest of the series?
A: I am definitely feeling fit. I have been fighting a strong thumb injury which won't
completely heal until I stop riding, as the stress of riding keeps irritating it.
Q: Which riders do you think are emerging as your toughest competitors throughout
this series?
A: Jake Moss and Mitch Hoad are the two toughest competitors.
Q: If you weren't a professional rider, what do you think you would do?
A: A Wall Street Lawyer !
Q: What would you say to your son or daughter in the future if they said they wanted to
ride motorbikes competitively?
A: If they wanted to do it I would support them 110%, just like my parents did for me.
Q: What is your favourite sport to watch, outside motocross?
A: Lawn Bowls
Q: Do you have any pre-race rituals?
A: Nothing really . . .
Q: Favourite track, anywhere, on which to compete?
A: Taupo, NZ
Q: Favourite food?
A: Jo's cooking
Q: Big night out or quiet night in?
A: Quite night in
Q: What improvements, if any, would you like to see in your performance for the rest of
the 2007 series?
A: I need to Win Hole Shots! I have the speed, I just need to jump out in front to avoid
traffic and trouble.
