Jay Marmont adopts Mike Alessi's settings for Murray Bridge -ozzy go- fullnoise

The Nokia MX Nationals has hit the half way point as round five
takes to Monarto Motocross Park in Murray Bridge SA, this
Sunday 10 June.

While the first half of the Australian motocross season hasn’t all
gone to plan for Motorex KTM racer Jay Marmont, the Pro Open
competitor is confident things will change from here on in, thanks
to new bike settings he has adopted from KTM American factory
racer Mike Alessi.

Tried and tested at the Sunshine State Motocross Series in
Toowoomba (QLD) over the weekend, Marmont confirmed the
new bike settings helped him claim the holeshot in every race he
entered, something he needed to regain faith in his bike set up.

Commenting on his entry into this weekend’s Australian
Championship round Marmont said, “I decided to test the new
KTM 450 SX-F bike settings at the Sunshine State Series in
Toowoomba because it’s the same track that will host the next
round of the Australian Motocross Championship following Murray
Bridge.

“I won the Pro Open class and came second in the Pro Lites’,
I would have won that class as well but I had a get off which put
me back into second. I wasn’t at all concerned where I finished
on the day, what I did want was to test out the new bike settings
taken from my former KTM American team mate Mike Alessi,
who is a master off the start gate.

“I feel confident that this weekend at Murray Bridge the
competition will see me in front of them not behind. These new
settings really suit my riding style.”

Jay Marmont currently sits fourth overall in the Pro Open
Championship on 133 points, three points behind Team No Fear
Honda's Cody Cooper in third on 136 points...
