Michael Addison wins All Stars Class at Manjimup Motocross -ozzy go- fullnoise

A scaled down version of the Manjimup 15000 took to WA over the weekend
with Belmont Tools KTM Dealership rider Michael Addison from Lesmurdie
taking top honours in the All Stars Class.


Lack of funding support saw the Manjimup Motocross take over the Manjimup 15000
for this year, but promoters were still generous with the prize money on offer.

After claiming a win in the All Stars Class, Addison came home with a top podium
position and $2000 for his efforts.

The All Stars Class was an open event with 250cc and 450cc bikes both able to compete.
Entering on board the KTM 450 SX-F, Addison raced in three motos comprising of six
laps on combined terrain of clay and sand.

Commenting on his achievement, Addison said, “The event may have been scaled down
but the race track wasn’t and there was still up to 350 competitors on the day.

“The terrain had quite an impact on me whilst I’m still recovering from a wrist injury,
which made it all the more rewarding to claim the win.

“In my first moto I got the holeshot and led from start to finish. In my second moto I
was third out of the start gate and managed to work my way up to second two laps into
the race. I was chasing down Louis Calvin in first but with three laps to go I didn’t have
the time to catch him.

“By now my wrist was starting to really ache so I took it easy in the final moto because I
only had to finish in the top three to claim the overall win for the day. I got the holeshot
again and led for the majority of the final moto.

“Victorian Lewis Stewart passed me and I finished second behind him when the
