Motorex KTM racer Jay Marmont was joined by competing
factory racers Craig and Danny Anderson from the No Fear
Honda Team plus Shift Motul Suzuki's Daryl Hurley at a
motocross club day held at Lake Macquarie last weekend,
as a part of his intense training regime leading up to round
four of the Nokia MX Nationals, at Raymond Terrace this
weekend. Marmont dominated over his competitors in each
race he entered, as he worked towards mastering his start
set up on the KTM 450 SX-F. “It’s been my starts that have
let me down all season in the Pro Open racing, so it has
been my focus to find a setting stick with it and train to
master it, said Jay Marmont. “Riding at Lake Macquarie’s
club day allowed me to test the bike start set up in a racing
environment and it was a bonus that factory team competitors
were there so I could measure up my pace against them, off
the start and throughout each moto. “I’m feeling fit and
confident for some domination this weekend, where I’m aiming
for a podium in the Pro Open class so hopefully all this intense
training pays off.” click on "ozzy go” to the full story
