Spokes Promotions welcome new Supercross promoters -ozzy go- fullnoise.com

In a statement issued buy Spoke promotions the company
that where a huge part of the growth and success of
Australian Supercross said it welcomed the news that Rush
Sports and Events International has been engaged as the
future promoters of the Australian Supercross championship.

The statement read:

"Rush Sports has an impressive track record with its production
of Crusty Demons tours and has the infrastructure and
wherewithal to do justice to this new role.

Spokes Promotions, as custodian of the championship for the
past six-and-a-half years on the back of the long-established
Supercross Masters, elevated the series from a two round affair
held at Orange and Archerfield.

In this tenure the championship reached the nation's dirt bike
fans in the capital cities of Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane,
Adelaide and Perth and through the Supercross Masters telecasts
on Networks 10 and Nine.

Our very favourite sport of supercross has been presented in
some of the most unique sports/entertainment venues in the
world... such as 2000 Sydney Olympics venue Acer Arena
(formerly SuperDome); Melbourne's Rod Laver Arena (home of
the Australian Open tennis and World Swim Championships);
Brisbane and Adelaide Entertainment Centres; classy NRL
grounds at Gosford and Wollongong.

World motorcycling superstars Travis Pastrana and Jeremy
McGrath have contested rounds of our championship along with
Australia's own former world and multiple AMA supercross
champion Chad Reed.

Australia can boast the title of second-strongest supercross
nation behind the US. From our championship ranks have
emerged US factory team supercrossers, not only Chad Reed but
Michael Byrne, Jay Marmont, Craig Anderson, Brett Metcalfe and
Andrew McFarlane.

Our current Australian champion and reigning Supercross Masters
champion Daniel Reardon will undoubtedly be the next to make
