and is afforded the luxury of not having to consider championship
points in this weekend’s one-off ride.
Considered to be one of the greatest tracks in the United States,
Budd’s Creek is a personal favourite of Reed, and he has been
looking forward to the round since the conclusion of the
Supercross season.
This weekend will put Reed in good stead for the upcoming MX
des Nations, also to be held at Budd’s Creek, if he is selected to
compete for Australia.
“It’s been good to have a break and catch up with family and
friends back home, but I kept my eye in and still managed to get
in a lot of practice time, including a round of the national series,
which was a lot of fun,” said Reed. “Budd’s Creek is a real rider’s
track and one of my favourites, it will be great to have a strong
run in the outdoor scene. It’s also going to be the location of the
MX des Nations which will allow me some good track time in
preparation of my possible inclusion in the Australian Team.”
